How to Disassemble a Glock 19C Gen 3 OEM Slide

 

1) First, confirm the firearm is unloaded and remove the magazine.

2)Then pull the slide slightly rearward while holding the takedown levers down.

3)Allow the slide to move forward off the frame.

4) Remove the recoil spring assembly

5) Lift the barrel from the slide. Your slide is now ready for cleaning or upgrades.

HOW TO INSTALL A GLOCK SLIDE

Insert the barrel into the slide, then secure the RSA onto the barrel lug. Next, align the slide with the frame rails and pull it fully to the rear before releasing it. This allows the slide to lock into place. Finally, perform a function check to ensure the firearm cycles properly.
